"I was tired of broken picture frames building up in my house," said an inventor from Portsmouth, Ohio. "I knew that there had to be a simple fix for frames that will no longer stand up on their own. Personal need led me to develop this accessory to keep a frame standing upright."
He created a prototype for the Smart-Frame to prevent the stand of the picture frame from collapsing. This ensures that the frame can stand upright on its own. The device allows broken picture frames to be repaired easily. It eliminates the need to throw out old frames, which saves money by avoiding the need to purchase new frames. In addition, the invention is adaptable for use with any picture frame.
