Based in Pittsburgh, InventHelp is attempting to submit this idea, the Soda Grip, to companies for review.

Are you looking for a better way to pour soda from a 2 liter bottle without the spills and mess? Then you need the Soda Grip.

The Soda Grip provides a quick and easy way to dispense soda from a large, 2 liter size bottle. In doing so, it helps to prevent spills and waste and it even enables an individual to pour soda using one hand. The invention features a lightweight and reusable design that is convenient and easy to use so it is ideal for everyone, especially parents of young children, the elderly and arthritis sufferers. Additionally, it is producible in design variations and a prototype is available.

The inventor, from Elizabethtown, Pa., described her inspiration for the invention. “I wanted to come up with a way to help everyone pour a 2 liter soda bottle without struggles or spills.”

The original design was submitted to the Lancaster office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
