A Pittsburgh-based invention firm, InventHelp is working to submit the SPRAY MATE PAINT MATE to companies for their review.

"I make my living as a painter, and I saw need for a way to keep flooring clean and free of drips, splatters and spills," said an inventor from La Puente, Calif. "As a solution to this problem, I came up with this handy accessory."

He developed the SPRAY MATE PAINT MATE to prevent paint from splattering onto the floor while using a sprayer, brush or roller. The unit safeguards flooring from drips, spills and stains, which maintains a neat and tidy work area. This offers added peace of mind when painting. It also saves time and effort when cleaning up. In addition, the invention is easily reusable.

The original design was submitted to the Orange County office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
