An inventor from Decatur, Ga., wanted a way provide added security to individuals who are out by themselves. As such, they invented STAY ALERT for use by joggers, walkers, children traveling to and from school, persons in selected occupational environments, among many others. STAY ALERT is a personal alert device that provides a wireless proximity safety zone around the wearer and offers an alert to the wearer when that safety zone is violated by an object, vehicle, person or animal.
The inventor was inspired by their desire to provide peace of mind to themselves and others. “I invented this for the protection of the many individuals who are out by themselves.” The invention forewarns an individual to approaching potential threats or dangers to the wearer’s personal space.
