InventHelp, founded in 1984, is submitting the STECOVER to appropriate companies for their consideration and potential feedback.

An inventor, from St. Louis, Mo., thought there needed to be a simple and effective way to protect a stethoscope from germs and infections, so he invented the patent-pending STECOVER.

The STECOVER provides a safe way to protect the chest piece of a stethoscope. In doing so, it reduces the spread of infections in health care facilities. As a result, it improves patient care and it provides added peace of mind. The invention features an effective design that is convenient and easy to use so it is ideal for use in medical facilities. Additionally, the STECOVER is producible in design variations.

The inventor described the invention design. “My design helps to reduce the spread of nosocomial infections from patient to patient.”

The original design was submitted to the St. Louis office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
