InventHelp Inventor Designs a Better Way to Mount a GPS Device or Smartphone in a Vehicle (JSN-185)

InventHelp, founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, is submitting the STEERING WHEEL SMART PHONE MOUNT to companies for their review.

Having to keep track of directions given by a GPS device or using a smartphone while traveling by vehicle can be distracting. This is not only unsafe, but it’s inconvenient. "In order to make GPS and smartphone use more conducive to driving, I conceived of the STEERING WHEEL SMART PHONE MOUNT," he said.

This ergonomic and easy-to-use invention enables a driver to use a GPS device or smartphone in an alternative manner. This avoids distraction and hassle, as well as keeps drivers' line of sight with the highway clear. It also promotes safety, convenience and peace of mind. Overall, the invention is ideal for all drivers, especially road travelers.The inventor has created a prototype of his idea.

The original design was submitted to the Jacksonville office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
