An inventor from Vernon, Conn., has designed a device that helps suprapubic-catheter users. "My father’s health deteriorated due to infections associated with chronic use of a suprapubic catheter tube," he said. "This inspired me to design a way to prevent this dangerous problem."
The patent-pending Suprapubic Tube Medicine Chamber serves as an easy, effective way to treat and/or prevent infections and other symptoms associated with prolonged insertion of a suprapubic catheter tube. This facilitates administration of antimicrobial/antibacterial and other medications. As a result, it promotes healthiness and peace of mind. Non-invasive, sanitary and easy to use, the device is ideal for catheter users, hospitals, assisted-living centers, nursing homes, EMTs, veterinarians and livestock caretakers.
