Modification to Evaporative Cooler Invented by InventHelp Client (PHO-1877)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) February 25, 2014 -- Since home maintenance seems like a never-ending task, wouldn't it be nice to cross one item off your list for good? Now, an inventor from Tucson, Ariz., has found a way to eliminate the time and effort wasted in keeping a home evaporative cooler working properly.
He developed the patent-pending Swamp Cooler Box to improve the efficiency of an existing pad style evaporative cooler. It also keeps water from leaking onto house and eliminates the need to climb up to the roof to fill the tank. Furthermore, it is designed for ease of installation and maintenance and is adaptable for use with most typical pad style evaporative coolers. In addition, it prevents clogs in the cooling system tubes and maintains a consistent water level as well as eliminates odors.
The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "I had problems with the system because the pump on the top of the cooler would always clog," he said. "Since this is a common occurrence with all coolers, I knew a modification of some kind was needed to keep the cooler functioning properly."
The original design was submitted to the Phoenix office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
