"I am an avid runner and have competed in many high-level track and field competitions dating back to 1989," said an inventor from Bowie, Md. "I am a long-time supporter of the Glenarden Track Club; home of a successful and well respected coach, Mr. Dorsey Bobo. My goal is to bottle various non-proprietary methods of getting the best out of athletes to perform at a championship level."
He developed the patent-pending The BoBo, which represents a forerunner with "smart equipment" and "player analysis technology." It enables coaches and athletes to monitor progress. The tool determines strong and weak points during races. It also prevents relay races exchange errors.
The accessory lets coaches know how to match which runner to each leg of a relay race. It is designed to enhance performance and enables athletes to train more efficiently. Furthermore, the invention supports track & field technology rule changes fostering good coaching.
