InventHelp Client's Device Improves Security for Truck Drivers at Rest Stops (TPA-2392)

Founded in 1984 in Pittsburgh, InventHelp is submitting THE DOOR GRIPPER SECURITY BAR to companies for their review.

Many truck drivers are required to get proper sleep when doing long shifts and/or long trips, so drivers have to park at rest stops. A lot of drivers sleep in their cabs if there aren't other viable accommodations. "I’m a truck driver, and I don’t feel safe while trying to get the sleep I need while parked at rest stops," said an inventor from Town N Country, Fla. "This is mainly due to the interior door handles not being as resistant to break-ins as I’d like." In order to solve this problem he conceived of THE DOOR GRIPPER SECURITY BAR.

This device provides better security for a truck driver who needs to sleep in the truck at a rest stop. As a result, it prevents break-ins and promotes peace of mind. It also helps the driver get the rest he or she needs.

Ergonomic, lightweight and portable, and featuring an easy-to-use design, THE DOOR GRIPPER SECURITY BAR is ideal for all truck drivers and trucking companies.

The original design was submitted to the Tampa office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
