A leading inventor service company, InventHelp is submitting THE FLOOR SAVER to companies for their consideration.

While it’s true that there’s no way to change the weather, there is now a way to alleviate the effects of wet weather on floors. In fact, that’s exactly what an inventor from Orangeville, Ontario set out to do.

He developed THE FLOOR SAVER to prevent damage to floors from water and dirt carried inside on boots and shoes. At the same time, it not only prevents slips and falls due to wet floors, it also eliminates the discomfort of wet feet and socks from stepping in puddles on floors. Furthermore, it avoids having to mop up dirt and water tracked inside. Another advantage is that it keeps boots and shoes neat and organized near the door. Besides that, it is adaptable to fit any entrance area. It is also convenient, effective and affordably priced. In addition, it is durable and easy to assemble, use and clean.

The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. “I was tired of the clutter of boots and shoes that accumulated inside the door in bad weather,” he said. “While the intent was to avoid tracking water and dirt from rain and snow throughout the house by leaving shoes and boots at the door, this approach often resulted in puddles of water and dirt draining onto the floor.”

The original design was submitted to the Toronto office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
