Pittsburgh-based InventHelp attempts to submit an invention, The Perfect Path, to companies for review.

"We own a pool, and when our kids come into the house they make the floors wet and slippery," said one of two inventors from Mooresville, N.C. "This inspired us to design something that prevents this dangerous problem."

THE PERFECT PATH promotes safer walking in a home after swimming. This prevents the floor from becoming wet and slippery, which helps avoid slips and falls. Overall, it optimizes comfort and safety. Producible in many design variations, it's ideal for all households with swimming pools. The invention is patent-pending.

The original design was submitted to the Charlotte office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
