Pittsburgh-based InventHelp is working to submit this idea, the TOILET SEAT BELT, to companies for their consideration.

Many people wish that there was a safe and practical way to help small children and balance-impaired individuals when using the restroom. The TOILET SEAT BELT could be the solution.

The TOILET SEAT BELT provides a safer way for small children to use an adult sized toilet. In doing so, it helps to prevent small children from falling off the toilet seat. As a result, it enhances safety and it provides added peace of mind. The invention features a practical design that is convenient and easy to use. Additionally, the TOILET SEAT BELT can be used to assist elderly individuals and it is producible in design variations.

The inventor, from Lemoyne, Pa., described his invention design. “My design enhances safety by preventing unnecessary falls in the bathroom.”

The original design was submitted to the Lancaster office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
