"I own and operate a trucking company," said an inventor, from Chatham, Ontario, Canada, "and I thought there could be an improved and safer way to complete vehicle repairs, so I invented the Tool Holder."
The patent-pending Tool Holder provides a secure and convenient place to hold tools and supplies while working on a commercial truck. This enables you to work on the truck and have the tools in close proximity. Normally, tools might be placed on the tire, and they will usually roll off, making the job more difficult and possibly losing tools in the process. On occasion, when work is needed to the rear of the vehicle, this tray could be used there as well. This will also promote safety, as you will not have to try to bend down, retrieve tools and possibly suffer an injury.
The invention features a portable design that is convenient and easy to use, so it is ideal for truck drivers, technicians and mechanics. This tray will also save time and money. The tools are conveniently and easily within reach. They can, therefore, be seen clearly because of the flat surface and will not be lost. Work will be done in a timely manner since time won't be wasted trying to find tools that have fallen. This Tool Holder use is not limited only to commercial trucks. This invention could be manufactured for other types of vehicles, such as farm tractors and race cars that have removable front hoods.
The inventor described the invention design, "My design ensures that tools and other items are readily available when working on a truck. It will also promote safety, and save time and money."
The original design was submitted to the Toronto office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
