Accessory for Moving Disabled Forklifts Invented by InventHelp Client (CBA-2765)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) November 16, 2015 -- With forklifts the primary means for moving large heavy items, it is essential they be kept in working condition. Thanks to an inventor from Cayce, S.C., truck transport firms, manufacturers, and warehouses now have a new resource for reducing down time for forklift repairs.
He developed a prototype for patent-pending TOW PLATE to provide an easy way to tow a broken down forklift to the shop for repair. With this device, there is no longer any need to use chains when towing a forklift. Furthermore, it provides a better turning radius than other towing options. At the same time, its small size allows for easy maneuverability. It is also convenient, effective and easy to use. In addition, it is durable for years of effective use.
The inventor’s work experience inspired the idea. “While working as a forklift mechanic, I tried to lift an out-of-service forklift with my vehicle using the forks and a chain,” he said. “However, it did not work very well so I made this device to improve mobility.”
The original design was submitted to the Columbia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
