Patient Mobility Aid Invented by InventHelp Client (NJD-1247)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) November 30, 2016 -- An inventor from East Orange, N.J., wanted an easier way to move individuals with limited mobility. As such, they invented TRANSFER MATE SYSTEM for use by hospitals and caretakers. TRANSFER MATE SYSTEM is a system that facilitates transferring patients with mobility limitations to and from beds, chairs and wheelchairs.
The inventor was inspired by their own career. “I came up with this idea based on my own experience as a professional therapist; I knew there had to be an easier and safer way to move patients with limited mobility.” The invention reduces the amount of strength and physical effort for an individual to be transferred to and from a wheelchair, bed or convention chair, thus helping prevent injuries amongst both patients and staff.
The original design was submitted to the New Jersey office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
