InventHelp Device Helps Caregivers Transfer Patients To and From Wheelchairs (OCM-1108)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 01, 2016 -- As a caregiver an inventor from Aliso Viejo, Calif., knows the difficulty involved with moving a patient that needs assistance in getting into and out of a wheelchair, and onto or off of a bed or couch. The dead weight requires a lot of strain, which can result in injuries. Also, it leaves the patient vulnerable to discomfort and even being injured him- or herself. "In order to solve this problem, I conceived of the TURNING TRANSFER PLATE," the inventor said.
This device enables a caregiver or medical worker to transfer a weakened patient into and out of a wheelchair, and onto or off of a bed or couch. It prevents strain and struggle, which helps avoid injuries and patient discomfort. It also streamlines the caregiving process and promotes peace of mind.
Ergonomic and easy to use, the TURNING TRANSFER PLATE can be used in residences, nursing homes, hospitals and rehab centers.
