Pittsburgh-based InventHelp, founded in 1984, is submitting the UNDERLOVE to applicable companies for their consideration.

"After someone close to me contracted the herpes simplex virus, I started to think about more effective forms of protection," said an inventor from Irving, Texas. "In an age where viruses are everywhere, the LGBT only has so much to work with, which is why I invented this."

She developed the UNDERLOVE to enable couples to enjoy oral sex safely. The accessory ensures that individuals can still feel tactile pleasure. The design helps to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted infections. It eliminates the inconvenience of having to use dental dams. Additionally, the invention promotes safer sex practices and offers added peace of mind.

The original design was submitted to the Dallas office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
