Smartphones, tablets and e-readers are crucial for modern life and are used universally, hence the create of the patent-pending UniCase. Losing, dropping or breaking these devices causes great anxiety because of the important as well as confidential data that we collect over time. Plus, there's the expense of repair or replacement. Smartphones, tablets and e-readers are vulnerable to technological and cyber attacks. Having experienced one of more of these events and having witnessed these scenarios repeatedly, two inventors from New York, came up with a design that not only works for smartphones, but also for tablets and e-readers.
The UniCase is a unique design that offers many features that every smartphone, tablet and e-reader user needs. The UniCase: 1. Will prevent dropping a smartphone, tablet or e-reader; 2. Will prevent losing a smartphone or tablet; 3. Will prevent breaking one's smartphone, tablet or e-reader; 4. Will avoid expensive replacement or repair costs, which saves a lot of money; 5. Has a built-in protective device that helps keep information and data secure, and prevent identity theft and remote tampering; 6. Its design is ergonomic, durable and one-size-fits-all; 7. Has endless design possibilities and is marketable to every type of consumer (kids and adults); 8. The inventors have suggested designs for every type of consumer; 9. The suggested material is inexpensive to manufacture, but durable for the consumer; 10. The UniCase can be made in two styles - a.) for adults with built-in protective device; b.) for kids without the built-in protective device; 11. There are interchangeable components for daytime use and for social events.
Most importantly, the UniCase offers convenience, peace of mind and is stylish all at the same time. There are a myriad of smartphone, tablet and e-reader cases available, but there is nothing like the UniCase! The inventors have created prototypes to show their idea and design possibilities.
The original design was submitted to the Manhattan office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers. A patent application is in process.
