InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, a United States Marine Corps, Iraq Veteran an inventor from California, has designed an accessory that could provide a safe and reliable buffer on the foot of a cane, walker, stroller or other ambulation aid. This invention is patented.

“Universal Ball Adapter” could replace a tennis ball to ensure that the bottom end would glide smoothly over a wide variety of surfaces. The accessory is designed to promote comfort and peace of mind. Universal Ball Adapter would be ideal for the elderly, physically handicapped people, veterans and more.    

Universal Ball Adapter would consist of a round unit that could be produced from aluminum, titanium, steel, rubber or plastic. The unit would feature rubberized surface pads, high-tension springs and a quick-release lever. The user would secure the unit around the bottom end of the cane, walker, stroller or other device. The unit could provide stability and smooth movement across a variety of indoor and outdoor surfaces. If the unit isn’t needed, the user could loosen the unit’s grip on the end via the quick-release lever. Variations of Universal Ball Adapter could include different sizes, colors, materials, designs and logos.
