InventHelp, America's largest invention service company, attempts to submit an invention, Dawn and Dusk Visor Extender, to companies for review.

While a sunny day is generally hailed as beautiful weather, it does present a problem for drivers at dusk and dawn. However, an inventor from Rockford, Ill., has found a way to solve that problem.

He developed a prototype for the Dawn and Dusk Visor Extender to provide sun protection for drivers beyond the factory sun visor's normal coverage area. As such, it helps prevent motor-vehicle accidents caused by sun glare, saving lives and avoiding property damage. Furthermore, it is a convenient way to reduce eyestrain and distraction for the driver. It also adjusts to shield against sun glare that changes positions on the windshield as the car changes direction. Furthermore, it increases the driver's visibility with little effort on the part of the driver. What's more, it keeps the driver safe, comfortable and calm.

The inventor's inspiration for the invention was work related. "When I drove big rig trucks, the sun glare at dawn and dusk was one of my biggest problems," he said. "Since I couldn't hold my hand up to block the sun for two hours, I needed to find an alternative."

The original design was submitted to the Chicago office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
