A leading invention submission company, InventHelp, is submitting the Water Balloon Launcher to companies for their consideration.

Interested in playing an old game with a new twist, even if it means you're sure to get wet? Well, now is your chance since an inventor from Baltimore, Md., has taken water fun to a new height.

His patented invention, the WATER BALLOON LAUNCHER, provides a better, more efficient way to toss water balloons and incorporates a water gun. A novel approach to a classic water game, it encourages children and parents to play outside together. Also an ideal alternative to more passive pursuits like video games, it affords physical fitness benefits by keeping participants active. In addition, it is affordably priced and easy to use while providing a cool, refreshing activity during hot weather.

The most noteworthy point about this invention is that it provides the user with an effective means of simultaneously discharging water and launching water balloons. While predecessors have addressed only one of these functions, this device offers the best of both worlds.

Resembling a water gun, it has two barrels: one to hold water balloons and one to hold water. To operate the balloon launcher, the user aims the unit and pulls the trigger to cause the interior platform to rocket forward and launch the balloon into the air. The second function, discharging water, is accomplished by depressing a plunger to displace air from an air-holding chamber into the water-holding reservoir.

Commenting on his reason for developing such a toy, the inventor said, "I wanted to provide a way for parents and kids to enjoy active water games together outdoors by combining the features of a water gun with those of a water-balloon launcher."

The original design was submitted to the Baltimore office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
