A leading invention firm, InventHelp is working to submit this idea, the WIG CAP, to companies for their possible feedback.

"I spent $400 on hair extensions for my daughters," said an inventor from Downey, Calif. "I washed and dried them and stored them in their packaging for a couple weeks, they became mildewy. I came up with this idea to keep wigs and hair pieces free of dust and mildew."

She developed the WIG CAP to conveniently store wigs and hair pieces. The accessory prevents dust and mildew from collecting on wigs and hair pieces. It keeps wigs and hair pieces protected from the environment. The device prolongs the wearable life of these items. It eliminates the need to store wigs and hair pieces in their original packaging. Furthermore, the invention features a stylish design producible in several colors.

The original design was submitted to the Los Angeles office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
