Pittsburgh-based InventHelp attempts to submit an invention, Window Skins, to companies for review.

"I live in Texas, where the sudden onset of snow or ice can mean an 20 or 30 minutes of scraping time when it comes time to ready my vehicle for travel," said an inventor from Trophy Club, Texas. "Not wanting to waste so much time, I came up with this winter-weather accessory."

She developed the Window Skins to prevent snow and ice from accumulating on vehicle windows. This saves the owner from having to scrape accumulation off the windows prior to travel. The unit eliminates hassles and frustrations, and provides added peace of mind. It is ideal for motorists who do not have a garage or other covered parking spot. Additionally, the invention is adaptable for use with any vehicle.

The original design was submitted to the Dallas office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
