InventHelp is submitting the ZIPP NUTT to companies for their possible consideration and feedback.

Truck drivers contend with many variables beyond their control that affect the timing of their deliveries. Fortunately, an inventor from Leesburg, Fla., has created a time-saving device to help them meet deadlines more easily.

He developed a prototype for ZIPP NUTT to allow a semi-truck driver to quickly drop and raise the trailer with ease. As such, it eliminates the need to manually crank the gear shaft to adjust the trailer’s landing gear, saving considerable time and effort. At the same time, it eliminates the back, arm and shoulder muscle strains commonly associated with manual operation. This automated feature is particularly appealing in rain, snow or cold weather. It is also safe and easy to use. Additional benefits are its strength, reliability and affordable price.

The inventor’s professional experience inspired the idea. “Working as a truck driver, I found it time-consuming and tiring to hand crank my semi-trailer landing gear when I needed to raise or lower it and wanted to find an easier way to get the job done,” he said.

The original design was submitted to the Orlando office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
