InventHelp Inventor Develops Protective Apparel for Sunny Weather (HCD-153)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) December 10, 2013 -- Have you felt like there's no good way to keep your head protected from the sun? Tired of wrapping your dome with a t-shirt or towel? Then you could use the Sundana.
An inventor from Seabrook, Texas, created a prototype for the accessory, which protects the head, ears and neck from the sun's ultraviolet rays. The item prevents sunburn and sun poisoning.
It also keeps sweat from dripping into the eyes. The accessory ensures that the wearer is cool and comfortable. It is wearable beneath other headgear, such as a hard hat, motorcycle helmet, baseball cap, etc. Additionally, the invention is usable in winter to warm ears and neck.
The inventor's personal observations served as the inspiration for the idea. "I noticed that a lot of construction crews have to improvise when it comes to beating the heat," she said. "I thought that my invention would provide a better way to protect yourself from the heat and sun."
The original design was submitted to the Houston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
