Tire Monitoring System Designed by InventHelp® Client (DLL-2562)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) September 12, 2013 -- Worried about the fitness of your car's or truck's tires, but not sure how to determine whether or not it's time to get them changed? Then you need the Tire Life Band.
Created by an inventor from Kilgore, Texas, the system indicates the tread count on the inner, middle and outer portions of the tire. The unit shows how much wear and tear the tire has endured. The system alerts the user how much life the tires have left, which ensures that tires are replaced when necessary. The design eliminates the need to rub your hands all over a dirty tire to check the tread, which keeps the user from injuring him- or herself on the tire. Additionally, the invention is designed to enhance automotive safety.
The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "Even though your tires may look new, there may be damage to the portions of the tread that you can't see, meaning you'll have to rub your hands over the tire," he said. "This is a dirty and potentially injurious job, which is why I came up with a better way to do it."
The original design was submitted to the Dallas office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
