Educational Footwear for Young Children Invented by InventHelp Client (DET-4963)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) December 07, 2013 -- Since preparing children for kindergarten is a priority for parents, several inventors from Detroit, Mich., have added an educational aspect to the simple act of walking. With this improved footwear, parents can jumpstart learning at an early age.
Developed to entertain as well as educate, the patent-pending Alphabet Kicks help children identify letters of the alphabet and numbers in various languages with each step they take. They attract children's attention with sight, sound, movement, design and color, and give them an educational head start since shoes come in sizes to fit the youngest walkers.
The footwear also provides audio and visual stimulation as well as repetition to advance learning. In addition, it serves as a teaching aid for special-needs children, and the shoes keep children entertained every time they wear shoes and walk.
Their personal experience prompted them to invent Alphabet Kicks. "We have seen young children who struggle to identify letters and numbers but learn quickly with repetition. We wanted to find a fun and interesting way for them to learn," they said.
The original design was submitted to the Detroit office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
