Pittsburgh-based InventHelp is a leading inventor service company, and is working to submit the Ladder Hitch to companies for their consideration.

Many people each year are injured or killed when they fall from ladders. To prevent these avoidable tragedies, an inventor from Washago, Ontario, Canada, created a prototype for the patent-pending LADDER HITCH.

The device offers a convenient way to secure a ladder firmly in place. The unit prevents the ladder from slipping while in use. This helps to minimize injuries by reducing the incidence of slips and falls, which is designed to enhance personal safety. The invention eliminates the need for other individuals to hold the ladder. Additionally, it offers added confidence and peace of mind while working on a ladder.

The inventor's professional experience inspired the idea. "I work in the satellite-installation field, so I am always on a ladder while I am working," he said. "I created a prototype of my idea for personal use, and it has proven itself to work very well."

The original design was submitted to the Toronto office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
