InventHelp®, America’s Leading Inventor Service Company, attempts to submit an invention, Eye Catcher, to companies for review.

An inventor from Fresno, Texas, knows the hassle and risk of handling contact lenses on a daily basis, so he decided to design a safe and effective alternative to conventional means. "Handling contact lenses can be a difficult and unsanitary task that can result in eye irritation or infection due to manual contact," he said. "This problem inspired me to design a better way to put on and take off contact lenses."

Compatible with any standard, soft, hard or rigid gas-permeable lens, the easy-to-use Eye Catcher is a device that provides a more ergonomic, sanitary way to put on and remove contact lenses. By eliminating the need to touch the contact lenses directly, it helps prevent the spread of germs, as well as avoids irritation and infection. It also minimizes the risk of dropped lenses and eases lens adjustment.

The original design was submitted to the Houston office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
