InventHelp Inventor Develops Improved Feather Board (CCT-783)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) December 13, 2013 -- "I saw problems with conventional feather boards that led to boards of differing widths," said an inventor from Bedford, Ky. "In order to avoid this issue, I came up with an improved feather board."
He created a prototype for the Best Feather Board Ever to provide an effective means of holding lumber in place against the rip fence of a table saw. The feather board does not need to be readjusted when switching between workpieces varying in width by an inch or more.
The design prevents kickback. Additionally, the device is adaptable for use with most table saws.
The original design was submitted to the Cincinnati office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
