Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Improved Shears (RCO-122)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) December 28, 2013 -- If you have ever used a pair of old-fashioned shears, then you know just how tough they can be on your hands and fingers. To alleviate the usual struggle, an inventor from Martville, N.Y., developed the Battery Operated Tin Shears.
The invention offers a more efficient way to cut tin, sheet metal and vinyl siding. The shears save time and effort. The design reduces the physical stress and strain normally involved. The accessory eliminates hassles and frustrations. The tool makes cuts on difficult angles. Additionally, it features a cordless, portable design.
The inventor's personal observations inspired the idea. "I got the idea after I watched Amish builders side a building with tin/sheet-metal shears," he said. "The shears they used were manual hand shears. I came up with this improvement to make the job easier."
The original design was submitted to the Rochester office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
