InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, is working to submit the Vortex Sear Plate, to applicable companies for their review.

Do past outdoor cooking experiences conjure up visions of flames shooting up from the grill endangering nearby decks and trees? If that's the case, an inventor from Essexville, Mich. has found a way to change that picture.

With the patent-pending Vortex Sear Plate, even novice grillers become pros the first time they use it. It not only prevents grease flames and flare ups from charcoal grill cooking but controls the temperature on the grill surface. Designed to circulate heat around food for even cooking, it also stops grease from dripping onto the coal and eliminates dust fumes.

Furthermore, it is cost effective since it extends fuel life without affecting the charcoal flavor. It is also simple to install and adds no extra steps to the grilling operation. Another benefit is its self-cleaning feature, which saves time and effort. In addition, besides improving the taste of meals, it also enhances enjoyment of the outdoors.

As someone who prefers charcoal cooking himself, the inventor said, "I came up with this idea to avoid major flare ups in my charcoal grill. This is my third season testing the invention, and it continues to perform better than I had ever dreamed."

The original design was submitted to the Bingham Farms office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
