InventHelp®, America’s Leading Inventor Service Company, attempts to submit an invention, Jaw-Jack, to companies for review.

"While I was at the dentist having my teeth worked on, my mouth became very tired and sore from having to hold it open for so long," said an inventor from Lakewood, Colo. "That is why I came up with a comfortable device to help hold a patient's mouth open."

She developed the JAW-JACK to support a patient's mouth in the open position while dental work is performed. The unit absorbs excess saliva and blood. It offers comfort and support for both adults and children, and it prevents soreness. The design also provides better lighting, which ensures that the dentist or hygienist can see the area more clearly. Additionally, it helps the patient to relax while having dental work performed by supporting the jaw while the mouth is open.

The original design was submitted to the Denver office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
