InventHelp Accessory Controls Falling Dust and Debris During Overhead Drilling (MLK-441)

InventHelp, based in Pittsburgh, is attempting to submit this idea, the Drill Debris Catcher, to appropriate companies in the hopes of their good faith review.

"Due to new fire codes, I had to install smoke detectors on ceilings," said an inventor and assistant property manager from Madison, Wis., "so I needed a way to control the falling dust and debris so as not to harm my drill or mess up residents’ floors." He then created a prototype of an idea.

Ideal for property management, contractors and DIYers, the DRILL DEBRIS CATCHER provides a less messy way of drilling overhead by keeping dust and debris from falling into the user's eyes and on a drill or floor. This eliminates the need to hold a box or bucket under the drill site, protects the drill and minimizes labor. The accessory can be produced in design variations.

The original design was submitted to the Milwaukee office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
