Pittsburgh-based InventHelp is attempting to submit the Verdin Charger to applicable companies for their review.

Has your cell phone ever lost its charge in the middle of an important call? If so, then you could have used the Verdin Charger.

The device offers a more convenient way to charge a cell phone and can be built-in or installed separately. The invention allows the phone to be charged even when an electrical outlet is unavailable. The device ensures that the phone always has sufficient power available to make/receive calls, text, etc. It is ideal for busy, on-the-go individuals. Additionally, the accessory is adaptable for use with any cell phone.

The design eliminates the need to carry around charging accessories. The invention is ideal for use in emergencies and provides affordable power. It also is usable to power laptops, GPS devices, MP3 players and any other battery-powered electrical devices.

The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "Cell phones are vitally important in the modern world," he said. "It's not always convenient to get to an electrical outlet though, which is why I invented this to charge a phone anywhere."

The original design was submitted to the Lafayette office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
