Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Ice-Fishing Aid (MMB-2138)

InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, is working to submit the idea, the Hook Setter, to interested companies for their review.

"It can be difficult to manage multiple lines while ice fishing," said an inventor from Rochester, Minn. "To save the user from having to run around checking all the lines, which could lead to lost catches, I came up with this hook-setting aid."

He created a prototype for the HOOK SETTER to self set the hook in the fish's mouth before it can spit it out. This lessens the chances of a fish getting away, which makes ice fishing more fun and enjoyable. The device helps the user deal with having multiple lines in the water. Additionally, the accessory features a compact, easily portable design, and it's producible in different sizes.

The original design was submitted to the Edina office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
