Tired of not having a good way to organize all of your tackle and other supplies while fishing? Then you need the Fishing Pole Caddy.
Two inventors from Paola, Kan., created a prototype for the device to hold and stabilize fishing poles. It features a side holder to place poles while baiting. The design also provides a convenient place to store cellular phones, drinks, car keys, wallets and other personal items.
The unit eliminates the need to place poles, tackle and other items on the ground. This keeps supplies from being stepped on. It also ends the need to bend over in order to pick up items. Additionally, the invention is ideal for use when fishing off a bank (pond, lake, etc.).
The inventors' personal experience motivated their idea. "My wife and I love to fish together, but while we are sitting there waiting for a strike on our lines, we do not have anywhere good to keep our drinks, phones, etc., which is why I invented this," said one inventor.
The original design was submitted to the Kansas City office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
