InventHelp Inventor Develops Home Gym for the Whole Family (SDB-516)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) August 14, 2013 -- Most home-fitness equipment only can be used by a specific individual, as it is tailored to meet the needs of a certain fitness level. While this is great for that one person, the rest of the family cannot use it. To solve this problem, an inventor from Oceanside, Calif., created a prototype for the COMPACT FAMILY GYM.
The fitness device offers a convenient way to work out at home. It enables the user to perform pull-ups and dips. This strengthens and tones the chest, arms, shoulders and back. The design allows the exercise to be made easier or more difficult, depending on the individual's fitness level.
The equipment is designed to be used with any door-mounted exercise system. The unit is easy to store and assemble. Additionally, the accessory combines exercise and play functions, so it is suitable for use by the whole family, including adults and children.
The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "There are many fitness products on the market, but none of them are made to be used by the whole family," he said. "That is why I designed a home gym that is usable by parents, grandparents and even young children."
The original design was submitted to the San Diego office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
