InventHelp Client Patents “4 in 1 Fence & Yard Guard” - Invention Could Prevent Weeds and Pet Destruction
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) August 09, 2013 -- InventHelp, America’s largest inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Florida, has designed a guard kit that could prevent grass, weeds, trees, crab-grass and vines from growing along the bottom of the fence. This invention is patented.
“4 in 1 Fence & Yard Guard” kit is designed to make it easier to maintain the appearance of a yard, especially near the fence. The accessories would insert into the ground and surround the bottom of the fence to prevent grass, weed, crab-grass, vine growth and block the entry of pets. The invention would allow a weed trimmer to be used near the fence more easily and effectively, saving time and effort when doing yard work.
4 in 1 Fence & Yard Guard would consist of a kit of segments that insert into the ground, surrounding the bottom of the fence and posts. The segments would be connected by couplings made of a rubber- or plastic-type of material. The tops of the sidewalls taper inward to seal the fence off from anything growing there. The sidewalls have holes along the tops and bottoms. The top holes allow space pins to be inserted for stabilization, the bottom holes provide drainage. On the bottom of each channel is a 2-1/2 inch tall segment that inserts into the ground which prevents growth. The entire back of the yard and post guard would be covered with an adhesive surface. The adhesive on the bottom would be made of strips so that it can be cut or broken off to cover the seam formed when the post guard is wrapped around the post to fill in any gaps. 4 in 1 Fence Yard Guard would be producible for residential and commercial use.
InventHelp is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 09-FLA-1834 at (800) 851-6030.
