Device Designed by InventHelp® Client Makes Oxygen-Tubing Use Easier and Safer (CCT-721)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) September 06, 2013 -- "Having seen many of my patients struggle with and even trip over excess oxygen tubing, I decided that there needed to be a reliable way to avoid these problems," said one of three inventors from Wheelersburg, Ohio. "As a result, the co-inventors and I created a prototype of the RETRACTABLE OXYGEN TUBING COLLECTION DEVICE.
This device ensures that home-use oxygen tubing remains taut at all times in order to prevent the tubing from sagging or resting on the floor unnecessarily. Besides helping to avoid trips, falls and injuries, it also eases ambulation. In addition, it's safe because it won't continue to pull if the user stops moving. The device can be incorporated on new oxygen devices or added to existing ones.
The original design was submitted to the Cincinnati office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
