InventHelp, America's leading inventor service company, attempts to submit an invention, Rap-it Testing Aid, to companies for review.

Many diabetic patients, like an inventor from Needmore, Pa., live with the hassle of regularly monitoring their blood glucose levels. Concerned about keeping the testing site clean, she thought of a solution.

The patent-pending Rap-IT Testing Aid is designed to keep the diabetic test site (fingertip) sanitary and germ free, and it eliminates the transfer of blood smear to nearby objects. As such, it reduces health risks by protecting other people from exposure to the blood as well. Moreover, it saves time by eliminating the need to clean up after testing. Its ability to maintain hygienic conditions also helps relieve the stress associated with diabetic testing. In addition to its reasonable price, ease of use and disposability, the testing aid is also portable and easily carried in a pocket, purse or briefcase.

"Being a diabetic myself," she said, "the difficulties I experienced with keeping the blood contained during the testing process led me to develop this towelette to help others in my situation."

The original design was submitted to the Lancaster office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
