InventHelp Inventors Develop Improved Pipe Cutter (BFT-518)

Share Article

InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, is attempting to submit the Makate to companies for their review.

Ever wished that you had a better way to cut pipes? Then you need the Makate.

The invention plunge cuts piping up to 3 inches in diameter. It is usable with aluminum tubing, brass, copper and PVC.

The tool also is usable to pressure cut piping. The device ensures that the cut is clean and accurate. Additionally, the accessory saves time and effort, and it reduces the amount of tools needed for electrical and plumbing projects.

The inventors' personal experience inspired their idea. "I saw a need for a tool like this at my job," one inventor said. "I thought that if I had this tool, my cuts would have been cleaner and therefore easier to apply a cup link. We developed this tool to cut piping quickly and easily."

The original design was submitted to the Bingham Farms office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
