InventHelp® Client Designs Accessory to Make Peeling Potatoes Easier (BTM-1104)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) September 24, 2013 -- An inventor from Emmitsburg, Md., has developed a prototype of an invention that will make kitchen prep a bit easier. The POTATO HANDLER prevents potatoes from slipping from the user's grip while peeling. When asked what inspired the idea, the inventor explained, "While peeling potatoes, they would slip out of my hand over and over again. This not only made a mess, but it also was dangerous because I could accidentally cut myself in the process. I knew that there needed to be a better way."
His invention prevents injury caused by not having a secure grip on the potato, while also saving time and effort when preparing to cook potatoes. Easy and convenient to use, it can be used with other foods as well.
The original design was submitted to the Baltimore office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
