InventHelp® Client Develops Light-Up Warning System (KSC-815)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) November 07, 2013 -- If you have ever stalled out on the highway or suffered a flat tire, then you probably stood by the roadside and hoped that passing motorists saw you and your vehicle. While there are products on the market that help to enhance the visibility of stranded vehicles, they are not that effective, which is why an inventor from Kansas City, Kan., developed the NIGHT OWL.
The system ensures that motorists driving by are aware of a stuck or stranded vehicle on the side of the road. The unit provides a visible warning that there is a stalled vehicle ahead. It makes sure that motorists have ample time to take evasive action so that they do not strike the stranded vehicle. This is designed to enhance roadway safety. The kit features a highly visible design. The device offers added peace of mind to stranded motorists. Additionally, the system is easy to set up and use, and it's designed to be lightweight and easily portable.
The inventor's professional experience inspired the idea. "The current system consists of three reflective triangles that sit on the ground," he said. "These can be very hard to see until the oncoming vehicle is almost on top of them. I worry about being hit if I'm stuck or stranded. That is why I came up with a more visible system."
The original design was submitted to the Kansas City office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
