InventHelp, America's leading inventor service company, attempts to submit an invention, "Spider Roofer Boot," to companies for review.

Climbing up onto a roof and walking around is dangerous, even for professionals, which is why they must take precautions to safeguard them from falling. To this end, an inventor from Detroit, Mich., created a prototype for the "SPIDER ROOFER BOOT."

The boots ensure that the roofer has a firm footing, especially in hot or wet conditions. They enable the wearer to move freely and step confidently. The boots also maintain the aesthetic value of the shingles, protecting them from harm. They decrease the need for roofing jacks, which saves time and effort. Additionally, the equipment is designed to enhance personal safety and work best on new construction homes, and it is usable on asphalt roofs with any degree of incline that gravity will allow.

The inventor's professional experience motivated his design. "My idea was inspired by my job as a carpenter," he said. "I wanted a safer, better way to move around on the sloped surface of a roof. This led me to develop these boots."

The original design was submitted to the Bingham Farms office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
