An inventor from Cullman, Ala., has developed an invention that provides convenience when entering your home by increasing safety and providing for quick and easy entry. When asked about the idea, the inventor explained, "This invention will be a boom for homeowners when entering the home at night or when carrying groceries or other items. I was inspired to develop my idea because I wanted to provide the homeowner with a safe and easy way to enter his or her home."

Ideal for use at night or when carrying large or multiple items, the inventor has developed a prototype of the OPEN BRIGHT. Additionally, it can be effective for use by handicapped individuals or those who live in high crime areas and it is producible in design variations to accommodate various situations.

The original design was submitted to the Birmingham office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
