Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Outdoor Reading Accessory (SNK-102)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) November 04, 2013 -- Who doesn't like to lounge on the deck of the pool or on the beach sand and bury themselves in the pages of a good book? Of course, nowadays, many people also enjoy kicking back in the summer sun and watching movies on their tablet computers. But sunlight can obscure your vision of what you're doing, which is why an inventor from Santa Clara, Calif., developed the SHADE READER.
The accessory shades the user from the sun while lounging in a recliner. This enables the user to read, watch programs or use a tablet computer comfortably. The design shields the individual's face while still enabling him or her to get a body tan. The unit holds a book, magazine, e-reader or tablet. Additionally, the device folds for portability, and it is customizable for different uses.
The inventor's personal observations inspired the idea. "I noticed the need for such a device while I was traveling," he said. "Many people sunbathe and try to read or use their tablet computers. The sunlight shines in their faces, keeping them from reading comfortably. My invention is the solution."
The original design was submitted to the San Francisco office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
