Chris’s talk – “Solving the ‘Identity’ Crisis: How to Challenge Facebook’s Log-In Advantage” – will focus on the companies learning to ascertain user intent and behaviour without the luxury of internal log-in data. While major social media brands such as Facebook and Twitter can rely on log-in data to build rich user profiles, new players are developing innovative solutions to assure advertisers that their ads are reaching the right consumers. Chris will focus on these technology companies that are building user profiles that can compete for the world’s largest pool of ad revenue. The session will give the audience a closer look at the businesses that are solving the identity question in the mobile advertising space, and will be held at 3pm on Tuesday May 12th, 2015.
Chris will also participate in the panel exploring how to create a successful app business. He will be joined by Ryan Ozonian, Co-Founder and CEO of Cyber Dust, and Andrew Maltin, the CEO of Hangwith. The panel will explore the process of launching a successful app, and how to help developers assess the viability of their app idea as a business opportunity early on. Finally, the panel will touch on how to build an effective business case to secure investment, and best practices for working constructively with investment partners to build an app business with longevity. The panel “Creating a Successful App Business” will be held at 9:40am on Tuesday May 12th, 2015.
