Norwood Insurance Group Kicks Off Charity Program in Irving, TX and Initiates Campaign in Support The National Breast Cancer Foundation
Irving, TX (PRWEB) November 02, 2015 -- Norwood Insurance Group, a family owned and operated agency with offices serving the greater Dallas area, has announced the commencement of a master charity program created to assist the local community. Operating as ‘Agents of Change’ in the community by selecting a new beneficiary every 60 days, the agency will work closely with nonprofit organizations in the area. Their hope is to bring community awareness to important local causes by forming campaigns which aid worthy individuals, families or groups with fundraising and other support.
To debut the new community involvement program, Wes Norwood, the agency’s principal, has chosen to introduce The National Breast Cancer Foundation - Texas. The campaign’s objective is to raise funds, as well as increase awareness of the overwhelming effects a breast cancer diagnosis can have on everyday life. With almost 300,000 new cases of breast cancer expected to be diagnosed this year, too many local families have been touched in some way by this devastating disease.
